Terrific Free 3D Software Package

DAZ|Studio is a 3D figure posing and animation software suite. The company DAZ Productions, Inc. has an excellent history of providing 3D models that work in conjunction with Poser, so their track record is good.

Be aware, in order to use DAZ|Studio, you have to sign up for a free account and agree to tell at least two people about the software, but other than that, there are no obligations whatsoever.

The features are truly excellent. You get a base library of 350 megabytes of figures and scenes. You can see what you're doing as you work with OpenGL preview, content management, scripting support, custom lighting, and much more that you would only expect in a very expensive package.

If you want to try out 3D, download this quick, quick quick. It's great stuff.
